Every meaningful journey has a beginning. This one started on a street corner.
In 2007, Jay was visiting Vancouver, Canada for a work conference while Sarka was living there. Both were on their way to the same bar to hear live music when their paths crossed at the corner of Davie Street and Hamilton Street.
That unexpected moment became the beginning of a lifelong journey together.
Years later, they dreamed of creating a brand built around meaningful words and everyday reminders. They even printed a few shirts in 2018, but life had other plans. Over the years, they traveled, moved, built careers, and raised a family, while the idea for Davie & Hamilton quietly stayed with them.
Today, that dream has finally become reality. Every design is thoughtfully created to serve as a simple reminder of what matters most.
